Abstract

This article is an arsenal of local studies and research aimed at publicizing the struggle and resistance of communities that are not titled as remnants of quilombo on the eastern coast of the State, but which have ancestry based on Afro-Brazilian values ​​and in the territory in which they occupy. The discussions in question present important elements about black communities to the remnants of quilombos, the relationship between these communities and the processes of invisibility, a debate on Laws 10.639 / 03 and 11.645 / 2008, as a speech that claims human rights guaranteed in the Constitution of 1988, and concluding with the contextualization of the Brazilian Afro-descendants, intends to offer some results of researches in the field that permeate the reeducation of ethnic-racial relations, of the valorization of the historical and cultural patrimony of Africa and Afro-Brazilians, inclusion of new knowledge in the school curriculum. The struggle for respect for ethnic-racial diversity, however, passes through human freedom, overcoming class society and exploitation of man by man, which would put an end to social and racial inequalities.
