Abstract

This article analyzes the stories and memories of railroad workers who performed their service specifically on the Federal Railway Network in the interior of Ceará. For that, some exceptional fragments contained in the interviews of railroad workers who live in the city of Reriutaba, located in the State of Ceará, were selected, showing the daily life of these workers. In addition to Oral History, the main methodology of this research, a dialogue between these narratives and their documentary files was made, making explicit that this type of narratives are not contained. In addition, this production is based on the analysis of a photograph that demonstrates the daily life of the railway. Therefore, important for this production, recording a memory that is not present in official documents. The production is based on some Oral History authors such as Bosi (1994), Motta (2003), Meihy (2010), and others. Therefore, it is important to highlight some aspects of the daily life that involve his memories.
