This article seeks to analyze interpretations of the Legião Cearense do Trabalho (1931–1937), an organization that for a time dominated the leadership of workers in Ceará, especially in Fortaleza. Initially, as demonstrated, the LCT was treated in several academic works as an accessory theme for understanding the Ação Integralista Brasileira in Ceará and as an elitist organization of pure manipulation and control over workers. It is argued that despite its conservative character, it is not possible to reduce the LCT to an appendix of the history of Integralism, much less to imagine that it was a ruse to deceive the working class. Conceived primarily from the experience of workers, the Legião, which was undoubtedly a movement with a corporatist program, became a driving force for workers' unionization and was called upon and demanded on several occasions by workers to mediate and solve typical problems in the world of work, clashing with the employers.

In 2004, the first master's degree research began (PPH/UEM) with documents from the Instituto Administrativo Jesus Bom Pastor – IAJES, about the social movements that this progressive Catholic entity helped organize in Andradina-SP and the region, between 1969 and 1996. At that time, these documents were inaccessible to the public and were located in a precarious warehouse. The documentary sources housed there for ten years were mixed with clinical analysis laboratory equipment, offset printing, office furniture and other remnants of the various experiences produced in the decades in which the entity encouraged groups and movements against famine, women , the fight for health, neighborhood movement, constituent, acting under the premises of Liberation Theology, and in a network. Two decades later, IAJES continues to appear as an object of research, due to the power of its documentary collection and the richness of the social and political experience it engendered. If twenty years ago, we set out to learn about the trajectories of IAJES as an umbrella entity for urban popular movements in the Northwest of São Paulo, in this text, we will present the research trajectories and the state of knowledge of IAJES and its sources.

What united several social organizations around these meetings was the struggle for better living and working conditions at a time when the discourse of "social participation" had been incorporated by the "governments of change."

Kurdish Nacional Movement in Iraq (1960-1980)

Between 1960 and 1980, Kurdish resistance in Iraq evolved from tribal uprisings to an organized movement, fuelled by state violence and assimilationist policies. Urban, educated Kurds integrated tribal structures into a cohesive political project. The struggle overcame internal divisions, using tensions between pan-Arabism and Iraqi nationalism. By 1980, the movement had consolidated Kurdish identity against the Arab nation-state.

The Aty Guasu indigenous social movement fighting for universal human rights

The article aims to reflect on the responsibility of the Brazilian State in the ongoing violation of the human rights of the Guarani-Kaiowá indigenous people of Mato Grosso do Sul, based on a letter of complaint produced by the social movement Aty Guasu, a resistance collective that fights for ancestral indigenous rights by denouncing the violence attributed to them, and by articulating actions that guarantee an extension of universal human rights to the Guarani-Kaiowá.

This article aims to discuss the role of the Black movement in Brazil’s socio-historical formation, highlighting its essential contribution to the struggle against racial inequality and its intrinsic connection to the country's history. Using the historical-dialectical materialist method, it examines Black resistance from the slavery period to the expansion of the movement in the 21st century. It concludes that the history of the Black movement is intrinsically linked to the very formation of Brazilian society, making it impossible to dissociate these trajectories.

“SAUDAÇÕES DE UMA TERRA DE POVO FIRME E MULHERES DE LUTA”:

Neste trabalho buscamos evidenciar o debate sobre os impactos da chegada do agronegócio, a partir do início do século XXI, na cidade de Apodi, Rio Grande do Norte, principalmente a partir das lutas das mulheres no território. Ao longo do texto vamos detalhar a construção e organização de uma ação de resistência organizada pelas mulheres das comunidades do território. De forma coletiva junto ao Sindicato dos Trabalhadores e Trabalhadoras Rurais de Apodi (STTRA), a comissão de mulheres propôs a elaboração de um conjunto de cartas enviadas à presidenta Dilma Roussef, solicitando o cancelamento do projeto de Irrigação Santa Cruz Apodi. O referido projeto visava a desapropriação de quase 14 mil hectares para a construção de um perímetro irrigado e um canal de irrigação, com o objetivo de atrair empresas da fruticultura irrigada para o território.
